Ortho Cat's 2 is a card game which was made for French speaking children and teenagers, 8 year olds and up. It is also great for foreign students who are learning French. The game makes you use several different grammatical rules. Each player has a pile of cards face down in front of him. The 18 homophone cards are placed in the center of the table. Each their turn, the players turn a card over, announce the sound of the homophone and then read out loud one of the sentences on the card. The other players must hit as fast as possible on the right homophone. The fastest player receives the "sentence" card. And the game goes on, the next player turns a card over... When all the "sentence" cards have been won, each player counts the number of cards he has won. The winner is the one with the most cards.
