The number of players varies from 3 players for a calm game to 6 for very dynamic games. Each player has a pile of cards face down in front of him. The 18 cards with homophones are placed in the center of the table. Each their turn, players turn a card over, name the homophone (ou/où homophone for instance) then read one of the sentences. The other players must hit as fast as possible on the right homophone. The fastest player receives the "sentence" card. And so on, the next player turns a card over... When all the "sentences" cards have been given, each player counts the number of cards he has won. The winner is the one with the most cards. |

Ortho Cat's 2 is a fun way to learn French grammatical rules
and to considerably improve your spelling of grammatical homophones. Among the 330 sentences in the game, you will find different expressions, expressions with animals, trap sentences or tongue twisters. There are 80 cards in the game : 60 "sentences" cards (which comes up to 330 sentences), 18 "homophone" cards and 2 cards for the game rule. |
