Numé Cat's is a mathematical card game in French for young children 4 years old and up.
Its goal is to make children confortable with numbers and the different ways of presenting them.
The difficulty of this game is gradual depending on the cards you use. This means there are different levels to the game, from kindergarten (cards
with rounds, squares, stars and numbers) to beginning grammar school (cards with numbers written in small and
capital letters, and simple additions).
The number of players can go from 3 to 6.
Help young children discover mathematics through a game !
Different rules are possible.
They help you practice your concentration, your memory, your counting, your logic, your speed...
Main rule
Each their turn, players turn cards over and compare the number they get with the other players' numbers.
If 2 players have the same number (for instance six squares, "six" or "6"), they must hit as fast as possible
on the "cheese" card placed in the center of the table.
The quickest player gives his cards
to his opponent and plays again by turning a new card over.
Six different special cards are also present in the game to give it more punch.
The first player who gets rid of all his cards wins.
The game has 81 cards : 70 "series" cards (rounds, squares, stars, numbers, capital letters, small letters, additions),
10 special cards plus the mouse (in its cheese) that the cats must catch.
There also exist extra rules to play with Numé Cat's Junior :
memorys, war, the families, the Ch'ami, the maze...
