Do you like History, and what about French History ?

With Chrono Cat's, have fun discovering or rediscovering History's important dates in French!

Here are a few famous dates :
- Julius Caesar's victory in Alesia,
- Clovis' baptism,
- the crown of Charlemagne,
- the birth of printing with Gutenberg,
- the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus,
- the Fall of the Bastille,
- the World War I armistice
- the treaty of Rome (with its fiftieth anniversary this year)
Chrono Cat's was created by François Petit to make it easier for French students in their last year of Middle School to learn the 52 dates they must know for the history exam they must take at the end of their school year. But many dates are already taught in grammar school so this game can be played with 10 year olds and up if you select the dates they know, and add more as you go along.
Principle of the game

Each player has a stack of cards face down (with a cat on the back) in front of him.
The 52 dates, with a mouse on the back and the dates on the other side, are placed in the center of the table,
the dates being visible.

Each their turn, the players turn a card over and then read the event at the bottom of the card.
The other players must hit on the right date as fast as possible.
The quickest receives the "event" card. And so on, the next player turns a card over...
If no one hits on the right date, the "event" card is put aside.

When all the "event" cards have been given (or put aside), each player counts the number of cards he has won. The winner is the player with the most cards.
Chrono Cat's is a fun and cultural game card with a beautiful design,
for 9 to 99 year olds.

The number of players goes from 3 for a
"calm" game to 8 for an "animated" one.
